this Wednesday, August 31st -a cool night is to be found at The Abbey…it's Replacements Tribute!!! featuring The Peasants, AM Stereo, The Dirty Truckers, Goldenwest Motor Lodge, Choo Choo La Rouge and No-Talent Show (members of The Dents, The Marvels, and Beefy DC) and the Pub Stage is all Replacements all the time that night too with Malibu Lou and Jay Allen…and as usual its always the Abbey that has some of the best shows…Thursday is Rock City Crime Wave and 0700 Club with the Anabolics from NYC but also on Wednesday, August 31st there's a most awesome show at TT The Bear's with The Midnight Creeps.(on at 11:30) and The Ghetto Fighters……then Sept 8th at TT The Bears is The Fleshtones..whew…a trip back in time!! the last time I saw The Fleshtoneswas a Storyville in Allston...on man, like 1980 maybe?? hey don't forget about the upcoming BGN show at the Abbey, Friday Sept 23! We got the Killer Abs (the all girl punk coverband) kicking things off at 9pm., Then at 9:45 is Shoot the Moon - a new band of rockers w/ famed Sam Jodrey( drummer of Toxic Narcotic) on lead vocals! Then at 10:45 get set for Deborah (WHRB) Frost, Albert (BOC) Bouchard and the Dictator's Ross the Boss and their touring band Brain Surgeons NYC, followed by the most handsomest men in the world, Gulcher Recording artists MACH 5 who will finish off the evening in high style, oh yeah mark the calendar folks it's coming up sooner than you think!!!and into the future..October 29th at TT The Bears is The Bags with Muck & The Mires and The Classic Ruins….WRITE TO us here in BGN land….click my friend!!!!!!!
